Research group Point Topic said over 50% of homes in Swindon have a broadband connection reports the Guradian. It said the high take-up was because of the large number of young families in Swindon with children and that such households tend to opt for broadband.

lol.. is that why I got to post Billie Piper on my blog?
ReplyDeleteyes.i also think according to e-Society, your neighbourhood is categorised as E-unengaged and is populated by Technology as fantasy types!igg
ReplyDeleteStrange. The catagory says: "The ‘E – unengaged’ are typically groups that do not have access to electronic communications or technologies. Most are too old, too poor or too poorly educated to be able to access them, and instead traditionally rely upon personal contacts they trust for advice."
ReplyDeleteSo how does this fit with reserach that says this area has the highest broadband penetration in the country?
It is also: "... considered to be an almost exact microcosm of the whole United Kingdom in its demographic makeup, to the extent that it has often been used for market research purposes and trials of new products and services."
